FAMILY REFLECTION AREA (New Years Day)  

Family Reflection this weekend will focus on prayers for the new year.  Children will be able to write their prayers and wishes for 2012 on paper and roll them up and place them in two trees we will have at the station.  So stop by on your way in with the kids and write your own prayer for the new year.

This is a beautiful services for families to participate in.  We will have the coffee shop set up with the Family Reflection Area and room for overflow.

ART MARKET BOOTH 
Tomorrow! December 3rd  10-3PM
The Children's Community will have their own booth this year at the Art Market.  The booth will have some of the family reflection area large scale art for sale, smaller art, cards, candles, jewelry and other hand made gift items will be available as well.
20% of all sales at the art booth go to Advent Conspiracy. And actually the other 80% was voted on by our Upper Elementary class to be 30% (50% total)= Advent Conspiracy, 30-40%= Elder Building Fund, 10-20% to the kids in Upper El class who are volunteering to man the booth.

BACK at TAFT

Beginning this weekend we will be home at Taft with full children's programming for kids, infants thru 6th grade,  on Sunday during the 9am &11am gatherings.  As always, we have full children's programming at the Saturday service as well.  

FAMILY REFLECTION 
We loved having the Family Reflection Area and will work on incorporating it into our worship time at Taft and our future building at Elder. 
We found room to include the prayer station this week, so be sure to use it to pray for Elder as or after you check in your kids at the coffee shop check in station.

THIS SUNDAY's GATHERING at 1100 ELDER

Sunday, at 11AM  we will have our second Sunday gathering at Elder. 


This Sunday, we will come to church in our work clothes and after a short service time, will engage in work projects throughout the building, grounds and in the neighborhood.

For families, we want to make this Sunday convenient for you to participate.
So we have two ways to help your family engage:

Full children's gathering at TAFT- 
You can drop off your children (all ages) at Taft from 10:15AM - 1:00 PM.  We will engage them in story, art, music, playground time & an extra hardy snack.  


Family Work Projects at ELDER - 
You can bring your children to Elder where there will be family friendly work projects...

Letter To Parents About 2 Sunday Service At Elder

Parents of Ecclesia, 

As you have heard, we are meeting during the next two Sundays at 1100 Elder.  

I wanted to make sure you have all the info you need for your families to engage beautifully in those Sundays.  

This Sunday, October 16th, we will have one gathering at 11AM with a picnic/community feast following. 
We will not have the ability to check in your children so all children will worship with their families this week. 
We will have our Family Reflection area set up exactly as we have at House of Blues.  So, look for that when you are finding a spot to sit on the lawn and sit close so you can let your children participate easily.  We also have some kid activities planned for the picnic portion of the event.

UPDATED TOTAL for LIBRARY IN EL TRANSITO

The grand total from our books sale and fundraiser for the Library was ACTUALLY $ 546.89!!!  

Wow! Let your kids know what a large amount they were able to work on.  This will be used for the Christmas celebration and the kids will receive a large selections of new books for the library because of our work!

LIBRARY IN EL TRANSITO
Book Sale & Summer long fundraising 

This summer the kids planned during kids camp, brought change & books, prayed, wrote letters, made a crane garland filled with written prayers and held a book sale.  

We raised just under $300 to give to the library in El Transito with all of our efforts.

(Letter From Kathy) Family Worship At HOUSE Of BLUES

Parents of Ecclesia, 

I am so excited by the journey we have before us as a congregation and specifically what this will mean for our families.

Let me tell you what we have planned and answer any questions that you might have.

As most of you have heard, Sept 11th we will begin meeting at House Of Blues for our 9am & 11am service times.  This will allow for growth during this season before Elder is ready.  My team & I have been working tirelessly to prepare for a new and dynamic way to worship with our children at House of Blues.  For our infant and toddlers we will set up in the “Big Mama Room” (I promise I will give you a map before that first Sunday).
