Kindergarten & 1st grade

After being dismissed from worship with their family, this class is led thru a music worship time of their own. They are then led to art tables to engage in art. Engaging in elements of what they will learn next. In addition to, or instead of, the children can choose a reflection station to work at. These stations are meant to get them thinking and interacting with God. Some examples of what these station are a prayer wall, media station, journaling & encouragement stations. Transitioning into their story area, which is a large tent & a very special place, they will hear a part of the big God story, placing that story on God’s timeline. Once done with story time, they will have a snack feast & reflect with their teacher about what they have learned. Their teacher will take time at the end to bless them. If there is time, this class might go out to the playground.
