Online Giving

At Ecclesia, we believe that a large part of our worship of God includes the opportunity to give back out of what God has generously given to us. The radical grace and sacrifice of Jesus calls us into nothing less than radical lives of giving and sharing. One of the ways we do that is through tithes and offerings.

As we have experienced this radical grace of Jesus together in community, we've committed that our resources and efforts be used to participate in God's restorative work, both in Houston and around the globe. We take seriously the responsibility to steward our resources in ways that preserve a focus on the needs of others before ourselves.

This call to generosity through giving is an invitation to our own freedom. When we are afraid that the minimum (tithe) is an unreasonable maximum, we limit the Spirit of God from working in our own hearts as we genuinely desire to be used by Him. True generosity is expressed and experienced in sacrifice. As a church, we hope to model Jesus to those around us by taking these invitations seriously.

To accommodate online giving, we have added PayPal links to our website so that you can have a secure way of making electronic offerings to Ecclesia.  You DO NOT have to have a Paypal account to use this method to make your offering to Ecclesia. Also, we want to assure you that these transactions will be recorded in our accounting system for credit to your Giving Statement letter at the end of the year. To make a one-time donation:

1)    Click the 'Donate' button above.
2)    You will be taken to a Paypal page.
       a.    If you have a Paypal account, you can login with your email and password.
       b.    If you do not have a Paypal account, you can click the link at the bottom of the page to use your Credit Card or Bank Account (in some cases the bank account option is unavailable).
       c.    Follow Paypal's instructions to complete the transaction.
