Sunday/Saturday Gathering Opportunities

Communion/Element Setup

Every week we share in the holy sacrament of communion. If you are interested in serving communion and/or helping setup the communion elements for the gathering you attend, please email Matt at: mcgahen [at] ecclesiahouston.org.

Offering/Bulletin

Each gathering we hand out bulletins and take up an offering. We need volunteers to help with both; this is a very practical way of helping us conduct the flow of each gathering and a great opportunity to serve the community. If you are available to help with one or both of these, please email Matt at: mcgahen [at] ecclesiahouston.org.

Connect Table

The Connect Table is located in the coffee shop and used as a hotspot where individuals looking to get connected can find helpful resources for various volunteer opportunities and small groups as well as talk to a staff member or leader. If you are interested in helping others get connected at the "Connect" table, please email Wayne Brown at: wayne [at] ecclesiahouston.org.

Chair Setup

Chair setup is a key component every week in the preparation of each gathering. We need volunteers to setup chairs each Saturday at 4:00 p.m.. As well as volunteers to help stack and regroup chairs following the Sunday evening 5:00 p.m. gathering. If you are willing to help make sure everyone has a place to sit, please email Matt at: mcgahen [at] ecclesiahouston.org.

Invocation/Offering Prayer/Benediction

Essential to each gathering, leaders and others willing to lead our community in prayer have the opportunity to do so by leading the one of the following:

Invocation Prayer- a prayer inviting God's Spirit into our time together.
Offering Prayer- a responsive prayer inviting all to worship in the form of tithe.
Benediction- a closing good word (prayer, lyric, or poem) to send us out into the city to continue in the mission of Christ.
